+ HOW Does the 2D Facial work?
By treating all the layers of skin at once, the 2D Facial creates amazing results fast. It utilizes the LimeLight to target the top layers of the epidermis and dermis, while Laser genesis treats the upper to mid dermis.
+ What areas does it treat?
The 2D Facial is primarily reserved for the face and neck.
+ WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM A LIMELIGHT FACIAL?
This treatment is great for men and women and most skin types. If you have any of the following concerns, you should contact us for a consultation for a 2D Facial:
- Fine Lines / Wrinkles
- Sun Spots / Sun Damage
- Rough Skin
- Pore Size
- Loose / Saggy Skin
- Breaking Out
- Oily Skin
+ WHO SHOULDN'T GET A 2D Facial?
While 2D Facials are great more most clients, people with sun-tanned or coloured skin would benefit more from Laser Genesis alone.
+ HOW DOES THIS PROCEDURE FEEL?
LimeLight is a virtually painless procedure that is comparable to a light snap of an elastic band. Our technician will adjust the intensity specifically to your skin tone and comfort level. The laser device is moved over the treatment areas quickly making the entire procedure over often in under 30 minutes.
+ What needs to be done before the treatment?
Please try to ensure you follow these rules before you come for your 2D Facial:
- No tanning. You cannot have a tan when you receive LimeLight.
- Stop the use of all Retin-A, Reversa, Glycolic acid products and toners a week before your treatment.
- If possible, come to your appointment without make-up.
- Even though there isn't any down time we recommend not planning major events for two to three days after your first treatment in order to see how your skin reacts.
+ What is the aftercare?
Aftercare is very easy as there is relatively no down time. Some clients may notice a bit of redness which should disappear after 12 hours and others might notice some flaking during the healing process.
+ How many treatmetns are needed?
Due to the effectiveness of the 2D Facial, you can use it for a one time pick-me-up, especially if your concerns are quite minor. For other people, a more long term treatment might be needed which could be from 4 to 6 treatments.
